Presidential Candidate Herman Cain |
The Koran gives Muslims permission to lie and even deny Allah if in the end it furthers the cause of Islam.
You see the Koran states in Surah 3:28 the following: "Let not believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution (prevention), that ye may Guard yourselves from them (prevent them from harming you.) But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah."
From this verse originates the concept of Takeyya. Short of killing another human being, a muslim may legitimately act contrary to their faith if under threat of force. The following actions are acceptable:
1. Drink wine, abandon prayers, and skip fasting during Ramadan.
2. Renounce belief in Allah.
3. Kneel in homage to a deity other than Allah.
4. Utter insincere oaths.
Hmmm. They could even be president of the United States and tell everyone they were Christian. But I digress.
Mr. Cain, how could you determine the loyalty of Muslims who practice the concept of Takeyya?
